she began to feel the bass thump pulsing inside her body, stimulating her senses and emotions. The midrange titillated her breasts sending a quick shiver around them cushioned by soft-blanketed warmth. She became more alert to the finer details of the high hat and a resonating of the bass line. She began to tap her head and shortly after that her feet, knees, and eventually her whole body was interpreting the range of sonic frequencies penetrating her eardrums and mind. She looked awkward at first but within minutes, she was in the groove with the people, flanging the sound. She began to mix her yoga stretches into rhythmic movements as the beats slowly disappeared there was a music that transported her soul into the cosmos of the universe. The new Mary was part of the universe and simultaneously her own universe. She began to mix her yoga with ballet moves that she had long since forgotten and did not think about why or how she was moving. The sound began to rise as the sound of a Juno-106 synthesizer played a chord that began to rise in resonance lifting her feelings along with it. The beat repeated on like the tiers of a train track and Mary was on the train. Rail her up. Her hands were the wheels and her mind was the momentum. She was moving yet still with her body in motion. Her eyes closed, continued to sense the pulsing lights enhancing the sounds of the Roland TR-909 pulsing at one hundred and forty two beats per minute. The flanging high hats began to sizzle her senses tickling her cerebral cortex with it. Phase modulation shuffled her body as she gyrated, wiggled, and shook. The TB-303 bass line machine kept her body in the groove with a very warm analog sub harmonic comforting to which her entire tuned to instantly. The sounds of the Korg MonoPoly synthesizer’s random four oscillators manipulated her body like a hardcore film. She danced without feeling her feet or legs, not aware of her body or what people around her thought. She quickly looked around and felt the warmth and respect of others who were dancing around her in their own personal temples of solitude. She reverted into her trance state, which was beyond any physical existence or thinking she had ever experienced.

“Gentlemen! We’re going to war!” a general screamed, gearing the soldiers into an aggressive mode, by giving the base a rush and a push of the land of the free, the home of the brave. All he could hear was random beats as if generated by Native Instrument Reactor’s random sound generating module, which he meditated to when he was in disarray and needed to find meaning. Deafening fighter planes began to take off down the runway and a helicopter began pulsing a choppy beat providing sub harmonic bass frequencies below fifty hertz that shook the entire military bass almost making him lose control of his bowels. The moment had arrived. The eagle was coming. Pride was landing into the hearts of youth and everyone scurried around to get their last things before they left for the battlefield. It was time to get Sudam. Dom slowly collected his thoughts and assembled with his team. The sound of choppers, drown out the scurrying troops just as they began to assemble into formation. They had waited three days to land and now the time was near to kick-start the experience of their soon to change lives.

Marianne held Dom so tightly and Dom himself felt weakened by the intensity of the gathering. When the two lovers heard the dissonant ringing of Courtney Love – Cobain, Kurt’s wife and mother to his child, with her counterfeit sobbing “Kurt you a-hole… can everyone say ‘you are an a-hole?’” as she read the alleged suicide note before the crowd of thousands of so-called fans. Marianne was shocked. Dom was deep in thought and did not notice the nuances of the voice over the loudspeaker but was startled when the entire crowd synchronously chanted “you a-hole.” The two looked at each other. Something was not right.

“Why did you leave us?” said a very young teenage girl who was dressed like an average college first-year student without the care of appearance. Marianne got scared looking at this girl.

Dom held Marianne close and took her as the rain began to pour heavier and the crowd was on the verge of disbanding or creating a riot. Police were surrounding them with riot gear including face guards and Plexiglas crowd control shields in an Orwellian 1984 fashion and emanating the police from Fahrenheit 451. Dom was not here to renounce his life or add to the commotion so he whisked his girlfriend away. The two decided to leave Seattle immediately before things got too strange. The media was everywhere and the news was looping on every television set and radio station they encountered. They needed to get out of that town and fast.

On the night drive home to Ann Arbour, the two talked and talked and talked. Marianne did not remember an hour since that night that she had been so close to Dom with feelings shared and stirred together like chocolate syrup in milk. Dom talked about his life, the meaning of life, his youth, and everything. Marianne returned the conversation with her head in Dom’s lap as he drove on the lost highway with nothing but the headlights visible. It was then that the two were together and became as one.

thread for IRAQ, Darren and US policy

Ok This thread is a place for anybody to post things about the above topics. Darren was our good friend and alot of us were worried about him when he joined the marines and dissappeared twice. his life is the inspiration for alot of the content and he has endured alot and i wanna tip my hat with respect for him. from way up here in canada to the west coast camp pendleton... So this thread is for any thing about the war, or memories or other related.

Please keep religion out of here coz like jellabi from dead kennedys once said; "religion makes me..."

Thanks for tha bandwidth
